Hussy is a movie made in 1980, written and directed by Matthew Chapman. The film stars Helen Mirren, who plays Beaty, a woman who works as a prostitute to support her 10-year-old son. The movie is set in London at a high-end cabaret nightclub. Beaty (Helen Mirren) ends up falling for an American man named Emory (John Shea), who works at the club as a technician. Emory's wife dies around strange circumstances and this raises a question as to his past behavior. Beaty and Emory become lovers and get caught up in some dangerous situations. Beaty sees Emory as a possible way for her to leave her life of prostitution behind her and this leads her deeper into trouble. Beaty and Emory have to overcome the past to make their relationship work. Times are tough and Emory does not have much money, which makes it even harder for the two to escape. This is a lustful, provocative film that will keep you at the edge of your seat.moreless
