Hustle is a crime film that was released in 1975. It stars Burt Reynolds, Paul Winfield, Catherine Deneuve and Ben Johnson. When the body of a young prostitute and known junkie is found, police rule it a suicide. They fail to tell the girl's family that they found evidence of rape and foul play at the crime scene. The girl's father, Marty Hollinger (Johnson), feels the police are hiding something and decides to investigate the crime himself. His investigation leads him to believe that his daughter was murdered by the last people she was with, a local attorney name Leo Sellers (Eddie Albert) and a French prostitute named Nicole Britton (Deneuve). Marty hires Lieutenant Phil Gaines (Reynolds) to follow his leads and further investigate. Gaines soon realizes he will have to decide if he should follow his orders and keep the perpetrator unknown or call out his colleagues and name the guilty party.
