I Accuse is a Canadian drama film based on true events, which was released in 2003. The film was directed by John Ketcham and written by Charles Wilkinson and Matthew DeJong. The film stars Estella Warren, John Hannah, John Kapelos and Tom Butler. I Accuse tells the story of Kimberly Jansen (Estella Warren), a fun-loving girl who injures herself on a night out with friends. She goes to the hospital to find a doctor to tend to her injured hand, but while she is there the doctor, Dr. Richard Darian (John Hannah), drugs Kimberly and then sexually assaults her. Although she was heavily sedated, Kimberly begins to remember her ordeal and reports Darian to the police. However, when DNA tests come back negative everyone around her begins to doubt her version of events. Despite the lack of evidence, Kimberly knows what happened to her and fights to bring Dr. Darian to justice.
