I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell (unrated) is a 2009 comedy directed by Bob Gosse. It is based on the story "The Austin Road Trip" in the novel I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max. Tucker Max (Matt Czuchry) is a narcissistic playboy whose only ambition in life is to have as much sex as possible. Since Tucker's friend Dan (Geoff Stills) is marrying his fianc''e Kristy (Keri Lynn Pratt) in a few days, Tucker decides to throw him a bachelor party. Although Tucker tells Kristy that he will not get strippers for Dan, he convinces Dan and Drew (Jesse Bradford) to go on a road trip to a Salem strip club. When they arrive, Tucker and Dan both find strippers to go home with, leaving intoxicated Drew to fend for himself. Tucker's abandonment of Drew and his insincere apology causes a rift between the men that threatens their friendship.
