I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is a 2009 comedy from blogger and author Tucker Max, adapted from a story in Max's New York Times Bestseller novel of the same name which contains a series of anecdotes about Max's experiences as a drunkard and a womanizer. This film is based on The Austin Road Trip story, in which Tucker Max (played by Matt Czuchry in the film) leads his soon-to-be-married friend Dan (Geoff Stults) on a debaucherous downward spiral full of booze, broads, and dangerous lies. Dan agreed to go out for a bachelor party before the wedding under the assumption that nothing would get too crazy. However, once the night gets going, Tucker wastes no time in putting Dan's engagement in serious jeopardy. I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is an entertaining film about the misadventures of one man and his friends with no moral compass, written by Tucker Max and Nils Parker and directed by Bob Gosse.moreless
