I Love You, Man is a 2009 comedy film about a man that doesn't have any guy friends. The film follows the story of Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd), a less than successful LA real estate agent that has just proposed to the love of his life, Zooey Rice (Rashida Jones). Zooey is ecstatic and starts calling everyone she knows. There is only one little problem, Peter doesn't have anyone to be his groomsman let alone his best man. So Peter goes on a search to find someone to fit the build. After a series of misfortunate encounters and "mandates" he finds Sydney Fife (Jason Segal). They instantly hit it off and start to find many things they have in common, but their new friendship turns into an intense "bromance" that threatens to put Peter and Zooey's relationship on the rocks. This hilarious and often inappropriate film manages to find every single funny-bone.

    A fitfully funny comedy.

    Los Angeles Times

Could have taken a more relevant, insightful and even funnier cut at a very rich topic. But the filmmakers didn't; they went with dog poo instead.

A Judd Apatow clone that's one of the few recent R-rated raunch fests the ubiquitous auteur of larky crudeness actually had nothing to do with, I Love You, Man cranks out the kind ...
