I Love You Too, written by comedian Peter Helliar and directed by Daina Reid, is a 2010 Australian romantic comedy that explores the interplay between friendship, relationships, and love. The film follows Jim (Brandan Cowell), an emotional teenager in a thirty-something body who refuses to grow up, as his one-night stand turns into a three-year relationship with his girlfriend, Alice (Yvonne Strahovski). Jim, emotionally stunted as he is, struggles to commit to anything further in their relationship, but after Alice breaks up with him on his birthday, Jim begins to realize the depth of his feelings for her, and vows to win her back. Jim's best friend Jake (Peter Helliar) is his wingman, and their antics lead to some hilarious situations. Jim also develops an unlikely friendship with Charlie (Peter Dinklage), a dwarf who assists Jim as they both pursue the women of their dreams. I Love You Too is filmed in location in Melbourne, and features cameo appearances from several well-known Australian comedians, including Hamish Blake, Rose Byne, Dave Lawson, and Angus Sampson.moreless
