Luckily, Deborah arrives in the hands of a compassionate therapist named Dr. Fried (Bibi Andersson). Dr. Fried works to help Deborah differentiate between her fantasy and reality. Both of them face several problems, and the only way to help each other accept reality is by working together. Will Deborah ever leave the institution by escaping her fantasy world with the help of Dr. Fried?
