I Ran against Us is a 2009 black-and-white film about the irrational behaviors during love and war. This satire was released through iTunes in 2010. It was directed by N. T. Bullock and written by N. T. Bullock and Jared Hopkins. Several months after breaking up, American couple Jon (Griffin Hood) and Sandy (Leanne Cochran) are getting on with their lives. Then Jon is visited by three government agents, who inform him that Iran has threatened the US with mass destruction if Jon and Sandy do not reunite. Agent Focal (Ladson Deyne) stays behind to do whatever is necessary to force the reunion and prevent a war. Jon agrees if the government will get rid of Sandy's new boyfriend, Brad (Matt Madden). Sandy wants her student loans to disappear. Agent Focal arranges for their demands and sets up a press conference. During the broadcast, things go awry as Jon proposes and Sandy does not say yes. Agent Focal has failed. Next up is Agent Fechetti (Lara Grice), who reminds the couple that the fate of the nation is resting on their shoulders. Other actors include Corey Stewart, Marcelle Baer, Frank Duffy and Elizabeth McNulty.moreless
