I'll Take Sweden is a 1965 American film directed by Frederick de Cordova and starring Bob Hope, Tuesday Weld, and Frankie Avalon. When Bob Holcomb (Hope), a single parent, is upset with the choice his daughter made in regards to the man she is marrying, he takes her to Sweden to distract her. Bob believes that a trip to Sweden will make JoJo (Weld) forget about her fianc'e and see that she can do find a better man. Sweden, however, ends up being a far more sexually liberal place than Bob had anticipated. JoJo is awakened by the sexual freedom around her and begins to question her own desire to get married. Bob becomes frustrated with the Swedish people and begins to think that perhaps JoJo should get married. This over-the-top comedy also stars Dina Merrill, Jeremy Slate, Rosemarie Frankland, and John Qualen. I'll Take Sweden received moderate reviews from critics.
