I'm Losing You is a drama film that was released in 1998. It was based on the 1996 novel of the same name by Bruce Wagner, who also directed the movie. The story revolves around a dysfunctional and wealthy Los Angeles family. When Perry Krohn (Frank Langella), a successful television producer, finds out that he has an inoperable form of cancer shortly before his 60th birthday, he decides not to tell his family and their lives continue as normal. His wife, Diantha (Salome Jens), remains seemingly ignorant of his indiscretions. His son, Bertie (Andrew McCarthy), a struggling actor, continues to try to raise his young daughter on his own and deal with his drug addict ex-wife. Rachel (Rosanna Arquette), Perry's adopted daughter, finds out about her birth family's darkest secret and her attempts to cope with the knowledge tend to be quite unorthodox. When death visits their family, they must all learn how to deal with loss, themselves, and the people around them that matter the most.moreless
