In Between Days is an 83 minute drama movie that is co-written and directed by So Yong Kim. It tells the story of Aimie (Jiseon Kim), a young Korean girl and her adaptation to living in a new surrounding. Aimie falls in love with Tran (Taegu Andy Kang), her best and only friend. They are both attracted to each other, but choose to indirectly communicate their feelings. Because of the dissapointment that arises from their ineffective communication, they adapt passive-aggressive tactics towards each other. In spite of failing in her English class, Aimie goes ahead to drop out of the class with the aim of spending more time with Tran. This delicate relationship is greatly challenged by the pressure of living in a new surrounding. Aimie's world becomes more and more isolated and lonely as she drifts apart from Tran, and is in a strained relationship with her mother, who wants to remarry.
