In Pot We Trust is a documentary from 2007. The documentary's subject is the complicated issue of medical marijuana. Four chronically ill real-life patients are portrayed, and their stories shared, including the benefits they receive from medical marijuana or medical cannabis. Jacqueline is one patient in the film, she suffers from an extreme form of cerebral palsy that causes a non-stop stutter, making it impossible for her to speak. The medical marijuana prescription she takes relaxes her muscles and enables her to speak stutter-free. The DEA Drug Enforcement Agency is shown doing their job in the hills of California, destroying crops of the illegal drug. The Marijuana Project, which believes marijuana's greatest danger is the jail time associated with its use, and takes a strong interest in making marijuana readily available for the seriously ill.
