In the Land of Milk and Money is a 2006 comedy directed by Susan Emshwiller. In this film, scientists have been able to genetically alter cows to in their opinion make better milk. They are hoping to rake in a lot of money with this milk, but something goes terribly wrong. Every mother who drinks the milk turns into a killer and they become so strong that they are unstoppable. Scientist Dr. Peter Cochran (Christopher Coulson) works hard to find a cure that will turn the mothers back into themselves. Just when he thinks that he has successfully found a cure, the producers of the milk try to silence him because they want to keep making money. Unsure of what to do next, Dr. Cochran confides in his girlfriend Laurie Shallot (Kim Gillingham), about the cure he thinks he found. Laurie is a reporter and believes the best thing to do is tell the world what is happening. The pair must be very careful about how to proceed with their information because one wrong step could be the end of their life and civilization as they know it.
