Frank Horrigan is an aging Secret Service member on one last mission to protect the President of the United States. Frank, although well into retirement age, is a sharp and capable agent. He's the only agent still on active duty that served on the detail guarding John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated in 1963. John Malkovich plays a psychopathic killer who tells Frank he plans to kill the current President over a telephone call. With the President's life in jeopardy, Frank convinces the higher-ups to let him run with the Presidential detail one last time. He's not as young as he used to be, but one too many Presidents have died already on Frank's watch.
