Inside Out is 1986 American drama film from director and writer Robert Taicher. Inside Out tells the story of Jimmy Morgan (Elliott Gould), a businessman whose life falls apart when he develops severe agoraphobia. The agoraphobia has left Jimmy confined to his New York City apartment, surrounded by luxury but crippled emotionally. Jimmy's life rapidly spirals out of control as he descends into the nightmarish world of cocaine, hookers and gambling. Leo Gross (Dana Elcar), his business partner, has had enough of Jimmy's behaviour and fraudulently takes control of the business. Broke and desperate, the agoraphobe finds himself without a roof over his head for the first time in years. Hitting rock bottom may be the best thing for the agoraphobe. Will he finally deal with the his problems and free himself from the cage he's occupied for five years? Inside Out features excellent performances from Howard Hesseman as Jimmy's college buddy, and Jennifer Tilly as Jimmy's favorite hooker.
