Rating:

Interview with the Assassin is a taut thriller from director Neil Burger exploring the conspiracies surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Rob Kobeleksi (Dylan Haggerty) is an unemployed cameraman with little prospects for the future. That is, until his retired neighbor, Walter Ohlinger (Raymond J. Barry), confesses to being the second gunmen in the murder of John. F. Kennedy and asks Kobeleksi to document his confession. Kobeleski is skeptical at first, but Ohlinger shows him the bullet casing that he saved from his part in the assassination. Ohlinger explains that he never spoke out for fear of the shadowy employers behind the assassination but has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has only a few weeks to live. Kobeleski embarks on an investigation of Ohlinger's claims which begin to carry more weight once Kobeleski starts receiving threatening messages to forget the documentary. Ohlinger tells of an intricate and twisting conspiracy, leading Kobeleski further down a dangerous path which culminates in a stunning conclusion.moreless
