Intimate Strangers is a 2004 French film about the story of Anne (Sandrine Bonnaire). Seeking help from a psychiatrist to help her with her marital problems, she mistakenly knocks on the wrong door. Instead of winding up at the doctor's office, she ends up entering the office of tax attorney William (Fabrice Luchini). Almost immediately, before William can even clear up the mistake, Anne begins telling him everything about her personal life. William enjoys listening to Anne's thoughts and decides to continue scheduling sessions as her therapist. The relationship between the two grows as both people begin sharing their thoughts that no one else has ever heard. Eventually, Anne figures out his true identity of a tax attorney. The biggest twist comes when Anne's husband Marc (Gilbert Melki) enters the scene. Will he be mad that Anne is talking intimately with a stranger? This French thriller will keep you wanting more the entire time.
