Intruso is a 1993 Spanish film directed by Vicente Aranda. Nominated for the Goya Awards five times, including nominations for Best Movie and Best Director. Intruso tells the story of Luisa (Victoria Abril), ''ngel (Imanol Arias) and Ramiro (Antonio Valero), three friends who have known each other since they were children. Years later, Luisa and ''ngel get married; however, after only two years of marriage Luisa realizes she's in love with Ramiro. ''ngel understands the situation and allows them to pursue their love. Almost fifteen years later Luisa runs into ''ngel, who just returned from South America. She is shocked by his look, her childhood friend seems to be sick and homeless. Luisa talks to Ramiro and they decide to welcome ''ngel into their house, hoping to help him. The couple doesn't realize that their old friend is full of resentment and vengeful thoughts and that they have allowed an intruder into their own home.
