Invaders of the Lost Gold is a 1982 war adventure film directed by Alan Birkinshaw. In the film, WWII Japanese soldiers are struggling to transport a large shipment of gold through the dense jungles of the Philippines. They are attacked by some natives and a battle ensues. The majority of the Japanese soldiers are brutally killed, but three manage to survive and hide the gold in a jungle cave. Thirty-six years later, Rex Larson (Edmund Purdom) hears the story of the lost gold and is determined to find and cash in the hidden treasure. In order to do this, Larson assembles a team willing to journey to the Philippine jungle. The team includes Tobachi (Harold Sakata), one of the survivors and wildnerness experts, Mark (Stuart Whitman), Fernando (Junix Nocain) and Maria (Laura Gemser), who will each receive a part of the treasures proceeds. How far will these people go to receive their reward?
