Isaac Hayes: Live At Montreux - 2005 is a music video of the well-known American R&B artist, Isaac Hayes, playing the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2005. The show opens with artist Billy Preston introducing Hayes, who takes the stage and immediately sings an unorthodox, up-tempo version of "Don't Let Go" and "Don't Take Your Love Away." The artist then slows thing way down doing "Windows Of The World" in a capella. His band soon turns on the jazz and blues in the next set, jamming to "Blues Is Alright," and after, they accompany Hayes and members of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir singing "Joy." The controversial artist then makes some political statements about feeding third-world countries and, he jokes with his audience, calling all of them his "Children." The music plays again after the short interval, and Hayes continues the concert, performing both modern and classic soul hits, including "Walk On By," "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "By The Time I Get To Phoenix." Hayes ends the set with the theme song from the film Shaft.moreless
