Leader of this island is a scientist named Dr. Moreau (Burt Lancaster). Braddock is welcomed into the civilization of the island by the native inhabitants and Dr. Moreau and his crew. Braddock, however, is unnerved by the natives as they seem to be not like any man he has ever seen. Braddock discovers that these natives are actually hybrid animal-men created by the twisted Dr. Moreau in his laboratory.
