It! The Terror From Beyond Space is a 1958 science fiction/horror movie directed by Edward L. Cahn. After a manned space shuttle lands on Mars in 1973, Colonel Edward Carruthers (Marshall Thompson) makes a desperate call to Earth to state that his nine crew members have been killed by an alien. The United States Space Commission doubts his story and suspects that he murdered his crew. A new shuttle, which is led by Commander Van Heusen (Kim Spalding), then travels to Mars to bring Carruthers back to Earth for questioning. When Van Heusen and the crew take Carruthers into their spacecraft, they are initially hostile towards him and refuse to listen to his warnings about alien lifeforms. However, they soon realize that Carruthers is telling the truth when they discover that a bloodthirsty creature has boarded their spacecraft through the airlock. As the alien begins a vicious assault on the astronauts, they must find a way to kill the creature before it kills them.
