It Waits is a 2005 horror film directed by Steven R. Monroe. After Danielle St. Claire's (Cerina Vincent) best friend dies in a drunk driving accident, she decides to take a job as the park ranger of an isolated national forest. Alone in Tower 19, she grieves the loss of her friend and tries to numb her sorrow by drinking alcohol. Meanwhile, a group of hikers moves a stone slab in one of the park's caves and unwittingly unleashes an ancient Native American demon. The demon soon begins to mercilessly slaughter everyone who enters the forest and even attacks Danielle's boyfriend, Justin Rawley (Dominic Zamprogna). When it crawls up the tower and destroys the radio antenna, Danielle finds herself without a way to get help from the outside world. As the demon begins to stalk her, she struggles to find a way to defeat it and to avoid becoming the next victim.moreless
