It's A Wonderful World is a 1939 film that combines the mystery of a crime film with comedy and romance. The main characters include Guy Johnson (James Stewart), Edwina Corday (Claudette Cordette), Fred 'Cap' Streeter (Guy Kibbee), and Sergeant Fred Koretz (Nat Pendleton). Guy Johnson is an extremely successful detective. Willie Heyward (Ernest Truex) enlists the help of detective Johnson in order to hide from false accusations. Heyward was framed for a murder that Detective Johnson knows for a fact that he did not commit. Johnson is determined to find the real killer and to do this he must keep Heyward under wraps. Johnson's fellow cop friends discover this secret between the two men and arrest them both. Johnson must keep himself and Heyward out of jail, but how is he supposed to prove that they are innocent while being handcuffed and given a one year sentence in jail? Just as Johnson's cop friends are about to escort him into prison, he finds a clue that could set himself and Heyward free.moreless
