In their hit TV show, the creators of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia have proven again and again that for them at least, nothing is sacred. So their decision to apply their hilariously crude brand of humor towards the most wonderful time of the year should come as no surprise. A Very Sunny Christmas finds Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Dee, and Frank up to their usual childish and self-centered antics. While Mac and Charlie realize their cherished Christmas traditions are actually far from traditional, Dennis and Dee set out to de-Scrooge Frank by leading him through a series of Christmas Carol-esque revelations that never go according to plan. What may be a time for loving reflection for most people turns out to be just another day of crime, shock, and public indecency for the Paddy's Pub gang. A Very Sunny Christmas is directed by Fred Savage and stars Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito. This Christmas Special is an uncensored double episode that never aired on FX. Even during this special time of year, with good intentions and all, the gang still can't do anything that doesn't end in trickery, back-stabbing, heartbreak, and huge laughs.moreless
