Itty Bitty Titty Committee, created and directed by Jamie Babbit, is a satirical take on feminist cultural. Starring Melonie Diaz, Nicole Vicius, Melanie Mayron, and Deak Evgenikos, Itty Bitty is the story of when high-school graduate Anna meets Sadie, who encourages her to join the radical feminist group Clits in Action, or CiA. Things get complicated when Ana falls in love for Sadie, who has a long-term girlfriend, Courtney. While Ana hopes that Sadie will leave Courtney to be with her, Sadie remains faithful to her partner. As part of CiA, the feminists cause all kinds of problems in their neighborhood, with Anna taking an increasingly large role in the group. Released in 2007, Itty Bitty was poorly received by audiences and critics alike, however, many stated that the film was an improvement over Babbit's last, But I'm a Cheerleader. Written by Tina Mabry and Abigail Shafran, Itty Bitty made its American premiere at SXSW festival, where it won the Jury Prize for Best Feature.moreless
