Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer is a 2007 horror and comedy movie. The movie tells the story of the murder of the family of Jack Brooks (Trevor Matthews), a plumber, by a demonic force that sends Jack into a spiral of depression and anger. To distract himself from horrible reoccurring images of the death of his family, Jack decides to enroll in college classes along with his new and slightly overbearing girlfriend, Eve (Rachel Skarsten). Jack learns a lot more than he had originally bargained for when his college instructor, Professor Crowley (Robert Englund), drafts him into fixing his pipes as well as into a bloody and horrific confrontation with the Professor's demonic alter-ego. With only his skills as a plumber to help him fend off the foulest beasts of hell, Jack hilariously fights off demons with the weapons of his trade. Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer is a Canadian-made film and was directed by Jonathan Knautz.
