Jackie Chan Presents: Wushu is a 2008 action film starring the undefeated martial arts extraordinaire Jackie Chan. The film was written by Dennis Chan and Ho Leung Lau and directed by Antony Szeto. Wushu is Chan's productional debut. The film centers around five austere and disciplined young students who join a martial arts academy which focuses on wushu - a Chinese martial art similar to kung-fu. With Jackie Chan as trainer, the students are subject to relentless exercise, meditation, and studying. They are forced to form a strong bond as a result of their grueling shared experience. But their training and technique is really put to the test when a former student reappears with the intention of taking a hostage. Wushu stars Sammo Hung Kam-Bo, Fengchao Liu, Wenjie Wang, Pheobe Wang, Yongchen Liu, Yachao Wang, Nan Tie, Junjie Mao, Zhicheng Liang, Dong Wei, and Xin Liu. Make sure you practice your round-house kicks before popping in Wushu!
