Jailhouse Rock is the critically-acclaimed classic film debut of rock'n'roll legend Elvis Presley. While serving time for manslaughter, young Elvis is taught how to play the guitar by his cellmate. After winning over the hardened inmates with his musical talent, he's released and struggles to become a major recording star. But conflict arises when his cellmate demands a cut of the action. Considered by many to be the best of the Presley films, it features a golden collection of Elvis standards, including "Treat Me Nice" and the Elvis-choreographed inmate dance number, "Jailhouse Rock." With Dean Jones ("Clear and Present Danger," "The Love Bug") and Mickey Shaughnessy ("From Here to Eternity").
