Jake's Closet is a dramatic psychological film about a young boy, in the midst of a family divorce, that is forced to fight a monster inside his closet. Torn apart from the constant arguments and fights, six year old Jake's (Anthony DeMarco) parents Jules (Brooke Bloom) and Peter (Sean Bridgers) have decided to get a divorce. But as if going through the pain of seeing his beloved mom and dad split up weren't enough to deal with, young Jake has an even bigger problem brewing, an evil zombie (Emerson David) is living in his closet. With the sinister beast plotting to attack and destroy Jake and his family, he finds out all there is to know about the strange monsters, hoping to avoid the inevitable confrontation. But with no one believing him, the chaos grows all around Jake and his dividing family, the creature grows stronger, and his meeting with the monster becomes impossible to avoid. Shelli Ryan directs this allegorical tale of a boy comic to grips with divorce.moreless
