Jamie Foxx Presents America's Funniest Comics: Volume 2 is the second in series of three films produced by Universal Studios and directed by Jamie Foxx. The movie was filmed before a live audience at Laffapalooza Comedy and Arts Festival 2006, in Atlanta, Georgia. The comic variety show features back-to-back routines by some America's funniest up-and-coming comic artists. Each act is hand-picked by Jamie Foxx for its fresh content and unique style. Featured stand-up comedians include: De Ray Davis, Damon Williams and Ron G, Lavell Crawford, Prescott the Funnyman and more. Cedric the Entertainer serves as the Master of Ceremonies, announcing each artist and keeping the laughs rolling as the show moves from act to act. Though Jamie Foxx himself never appears in the film, his signature taste for observational comedy is apparent in the acts selected. Though the film is not rated, parental discretion is advised because it contains both mature subject matter and profanity.
