Jennifer's Body is a 2009 horror-comedy film from Academy Award-winning writer Diablo Cody and starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried in a story about a beautiful young woman possessed by a blood-thirsty demon with a taste for teenage men. The story takes place in flashback, told from the perspective of Anita "Needy" Lesnicki (Amanda Seyfried). Needy is a disturbed patient at a mental hospital, but the story she tells dates back to when she was just another nerdy and insecure high school teenager. Needy was best friends with Jennifer Check (Fox), a beautiful and popular girl. Something happened to Jennifer during a catastrophic fire that destroyed a local dive bar, and the aftermath left a trail of dead bodies and eventually put Needy in the insane asylum.
