Jeremy is a warm and touching, coming-of-age love story. Jeremy (Robbie Benson) is a gifted Jewish boy, who is a wonderful student at a New York performing arts school. He plays first chair cello in the school's orchestra, and his talent extends to picking winners in the horse races at the local racetrack. His life is interrupted when he meets ballet student, Susan Rollins (Glyniss O'Connor). While Jeremy has many talents, girls are one area he hasn't covered, and to top it off, he is painfully shy. As the two youngsters become friends, their relationship grows from being awkward, and starts to blossom into young love. The couple suffer an agonizing blow when Susan's father tells his family of his plan to move the family from New York to Denver, which could completely ruin the young couple's romance. This is a touching film about young love from 1973, directed by Arthur Barron.
