Jerry Lee Lewis and Friends is a 2005 concert special that captures the famed singer entertaining a sold-out crowd at Labatt's Apollo theatre in London, England in 1989. In this special, Lewis is joined by a number of famous friends, ranging from Van Morrison to Queen's Brian May. Jerry Lewis and Friends captures many special moments including a unique opening song where Lewis sings his hit, "I Am What I Am," on the piano. In the lyrics, he reminds the audience of his diversity as an artist...stating he is "a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll." Later in the concert, Lewis showcases his love and admiration for country legend Hank Williams by singing two country ballads, "I Don't Want To Be Lonely Tonight" and "You Win Again." Bonus coverage includes lengthy biographies on Lewis and all guests who took part in the special. This concert special was directed by Phil Chilvers.
