PG-13

Joe's Apartment features Joe (Jerry O'Connell), a man who has just moved from Iowa to New York City. Joe cannot find a job, an apartment, or a girlfriend. However, he moves into a rent controlled apartment after the previous tenant dies to find he has roommates in the form of talking and singing cockroaches. The cockroaches are grateful that Joe is a messy roommate and see Joe as a long-term houseguest. They attempt to earn his allegiance by helping him with everyday problems, but they unintentionally create other issues for Joe. While hanging posters for his band, Lily Dougherty (Megan Ward) catches Joe's attention, and he sets out to help Lily with her community garden project. The two become romantically involved while working together. Trouble follows the pair due to the cockroaches, who are desperate to keep Joe in their life, while Joe hides the pests' existence as he continues his romance with Lily.
