Johnny Cool, released in 1963, is a crime drama detailing the life of a criminal turned hit-man. After living a life of crime in America, Johnny Colini (Marc Lawrence) is exiled to Sicily, where he meets and rescues thug Johnny Giordano (Henry Silva) from the police. Happy to be saved from law enforcement, Giordano offers a favor to Colini as a sign of gratitude. Colini takes Giordano up on his offer, taking Giordano under his wing. Under Colini's training, Giordano is turned into a hit-man of sorts, taking the name Johnny Cool. Tasked with taking out the people suspected of ratting out Colini, Cool makes the trek to New York City to begin his assignment. While in America, Johnny Cool meets Dare Guiness (Elizabeth Montgomery), with whom he falls in love. With the other gangsters hearing about the fates of their now dead companions, they rough up Guiness in an effort to stop Johnny Cool's blood thirst, which makes Cool even thirstier. Now with his revenge scheme of his own, Cool sets out on an exciting and bloody adventure in New York.
