Josh Kirby, Time Warrior: Eggs from 70 Million B.C. is the story of time-traveler Josh Kirby (Corbin Allred) and his shipmates aboard their timepod. In this film, one in a series of adolescent science fiction films about Kirby and his crew, they discover mysterious ancient eggs on the hull of the timepod. The eggs hatch into cute, and seemingly safe, worms that reside on the ship. Soon after they hatch, the timepod crashes on the surface of Azabeth's (Jennifer Burns) the planet home to her alien race, the Kang. There, the Kang take Kirby and shipmate Irwin 1138 (Barrie Ingham) into custody while the worms get loose and wreak havoc. It becomes clear that the worms have voracious appetites for any metal they can find including weapons, battle stations, and even the timepod! The Kang quickly realize their best hope for stopping the worms is releasing Kirby and Irwin to catch them. In the dramatic climax, we find out if Josh and friends can worm their way out this one.moreless
