Joshua is an eerie American psychological thriller which follows an affluent family as their sanity is stretched to its limits by their disturbing 8-year old son. The film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007, was written and directed by George Ratliff and stars several big names in Hollywood including Sam Rockwell (Choke, Matchstick Men, The Green Mile, Iron Man 2) and Vera Farmiga (The Departed, Up in the Air). Little Joshua Cairn (Jacob Kogan) is the apple of his parents' eyes (Rockwell and Farmiga) - his alarmingly high IQ and thirst for knowledge continuously intrigues them (think child prodigy). But trouble arises when his ego is jeopardized by his new baby sister who has just returned from the hospital. Suddenly Joshua isn't the constant center of attention anymore, and he doesn't like it one bit. His mother and father crumble in fear of his sociopathic tendencies. Will Joshua let up, or is his family doomed to endure his bizarre behavior forever? A shockingly good thriller equipped with powerful performances by some of Hollywood's best. Don't miss Joshua!moreless
