Movie Summary

Doug Liman

Jumper follows the adventures of a young man who finds that his ability to teleport around the world has made him a target by a group of vandals. David Rice is a young man who has used his teleporting ability as a source of excitement for years. The young man left his family in Michigan as a youth using his ability and has exalted his teleporting power by doing things ranging from surfing in Fiji to simply impressing cute girls. David's life soon takes a turn for the worse however, when he learns that an organization is threatening the world of jumpers by taking away their freedom. Headed up by its leader, Roland, the group has intentions of wiping jumpers off the face of the earth in an effort to better humankind. David decides to return to Michigan to hideout and reconnect with his loved ones. In doing so, he runs into a fellow jumper named Griffin. The two join forces as they attempt to stay one step ahead of and eventually survive what quickly turns into a global war against their kind.
