Junior is a 1994 comedy directed by Ivan Reitman. Dr. Alex Hesse (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Dr. Larry Arbogast (Danny DeVito) are scientists working on an experimental fertility drug called Expectane that will virtually guarantee that a woman becomes pregnant. After the Federal Drug Administration denies their request to test the drug on a human, Larry mixes Expectane with a donated ovum and injects it into Alex himself. Almost immediately after the injection, Alex finds out that the Expectane has helped him to have the first male pregnancy in the world. A series of comic events ensues as Alex tries to cope with tender nipples, morning sickness, and all of the other wonders of pregnancy. The scientists plan to have Alex stop taking Expectane after they are finished with their tests, which will cause his body to reject the fetus. However, their original plan goes awry when hormonal Alex starts to get emotionally attached to his unborn baby.
