Rating:
PG-13
Just My Luck is a romantic comedy film directed by Donald Petrie that centers on an ever-lucky young woman who suddenly loses her amazing luck to an ever-unlucky young man. Ashley Albright (Lindsay Lohan) has always had tremendous luck -- so much so things just seem to work out for her no matter what, even managing to convince a very famous Damon Phillips (Faizon Love) to let her organize a masquerade for him. For Jake Hardin (Chris Pine), nothing ever goes right. Whether it is in the small things as cords breaking or never getting a break, he tries his hardest to get the band he manages, McFly, some publicity. When he sneaks into Ashley's organized masquerade party, the two manage to catch each other's eye -- and each other's luck. Ashley manages to find herself thrown in jail, creates chaos in a small café, and loses her job while Jake finally catches a break. It is a hilarious debacle of just what happens when your luck runs out.moreless
