Just One of the Girls is a teen comedy film that revolves around 16-year-old high school student Chris Hadler (Corey Haim). Sick of being bullied, Chris enrolls in a new school. However, he realizes that the bullies can still bother him, so he decides to dress up as a girl. At first, he intends to only dress up as a girl in school. Eventually, he dresses as a girl all the time. His father, Louis (Kevin McNulty), starts to question his sexuality, but Chris assures his father he is straight. In fact, Chris becomes friends with his crush Marie Stark (Nicole Eggbert). Marie even convinces him to join the cheerleading team, an activity that Chris learns to enjoy. When his former enemy, Kurt (Cameron Bancroft), makes advances on him, Chris has to try hard to keep his true identity a secret, something that causes him more difficulty than he thought possible.
