Just One of the Guys is a comedy film directed by Lisa Gottlieb that follows Terry Griffith (Joyce Hyser), a dedicated aspiring high school journalist who has it all. She's a total knock out with a college boyfriend (Leigh McCloskey), an awesome best friend (Toni Hudson), and is one of the most popular girls in school. The only real problem is that no one takes her serious at all – as a journalist or even as a person – because she's a beautiful girl. When she misses a chance to have her dream newspaper internship, Terry decides that it's because she's a girl and takes matters into her own hands. With the help of her sex-obsessed little pig of a brother, Buddy (Billy Jayne), Terry enrolls in the opposing high school as Terry Griffith, the new guy in town. Terry learns the hard way what it means to be just one of the guys as she deals with a vindictive bodybuilding bully Greg (William Zabka), befriends the loner Rick (Clayton Rohner), and bats off the overly sexual dealings of freshman Sandy (Sherilyn Fenn). It's tough being a teenager.moreless
