PG-13
Kabluey is a 2007 American comedy written and directed by Scott Pendergast. The film tells the story of Leslie Miniver (Lisa Kudrow) and her struggling family. Leslie's husband is a U.S. soldier stationed in Iraq. Facing the prospect of her benefits running out, Leslie is forced to go back to work as her brother-in-law, Salman (Scott Pendergast), helps out with her two kids. Salman, who was recently fire for laminating everything he could get his hands on, takes a job as a costumed mascot from Leslie's company named "Kabluey." Meanwhile, Leslie's sons, Cameron (Cameron Woffard) and Lincoln (Landon Henninger), resist Salmon's intrusion into their lives. They warn that they will even go as far as to kill him. Despite these setbacks, Salmon's mascot work fills him with newfound confidence and determination to turn his life around. His enthusiasm may not last, however, when dirty secrets involving Leslie and his new employers finally come to light.
