Kate has never been able to forget the college years when Sara depended on her for friendship and security. They made plans to someday open a flower shop in their hometown of New Orleans. Sara travels to the West Coast for what was supposed to be a temporary change of scenery, but while living there falls in love with a man and gets engaged.
