Kermit's Swamp Years is a 2002 live-action American film starring Jim Henson's Muppets. Young Kermit is a carefree frog living in a swamp with his friends Croaker and Goggles. While Croaker and Goggles don't have Kermit's desire to travel, they are nevertheless his best friends. When a pet store owner named Wilson grabs Goggles and Blotch (a bully of a frog), Kermit and Croaker have no choice but to venture outside of the swamp and into the human world. In their quest to save them, Kermit and Croaker become friends with a stray dog named Pilgrim. Pilgrim shows Kermit the wonders of the human world. Meanwhile, a High School science teacher snatches Blotch and Goggles up, in hopes of using them for a dissection class. Kermit and Croaker must then race against the clock to save their friends before they go under the knife. Starring William Bookston, John Hostetter, Christian Kebble, and Kelly Collins Lintz, Kermit's Swamp Years is a prequel of sorts to The Muppet Movie.moreless
