Kettle of Fish is a romantic comedy that is full of witty banter and hilarious jokes. The movie follows roommates Mel (Matthew Modine) and Ginger (Gina Gershon) as they get caught up in a fight. They are two totally different people and their personalities are beginning to clash. Mel is a musician and has a gig one night. At this gig he falls in love with a beautiful woman who is in the audience, and who repeatedly tells him how good of a musician he is. Mel's new relationship bothers Ginger. She doesn't like the new girl in Mel's life and would rather he stay single. The two have numerous feuds over little things and some bigger fights too, and Mel's new relationship ends up changing Ginger and Mel's relationship forever. This movie is a one of a kind romantic comedy with original material and witty comments that you'll want to stick around for.
