Movie Summary

Director:
Kelly Makin
Released:
1996
Rating:
R
Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy is another great work of comic ingenuity from that very familiar and funny cast. If you are already a fan of Kids in the Hall, or if you enjoy the humor of Saturday Night Live, SCTV or Monty Python, you will want to see this movie. In this story, a maker of pharmaceuticals known for making gas relief medicine, finds itself in financial trouble. Upon discovering what they think is a cure for depression, they distribute it without proper testing. Soon, users of the drug begin to pass into a comatose state. This catastrophe causes some of the company's employees to want to confess the truth to the public, while others were only concerned with hiding the secret to keep from losing their money. Using their wide-ranging acting abilities to perform bizarre scenes, the group once again delivers humor in such an unusual and natural way.
