Movie Summary

Director:
Lazar Saric
Released:
2003
Rating:

Killer Drag Queens on Dope is the delightfully campy story of Ginger (Alexis Arquette) and Coco (Omar Alexis). Ginger is the unbeatable, but still feminine leader, and Coco the charming sidekick with a doll obsession. They have a secret: they are really contract killers working for Uncle A. (Don Edmunds), the mafia don widely acknowledged as being merciless and somewhat crazy. Ginger is girlfriend to Uncle A's designated hitman, Bobby (Mario Diaz). Since Bobby is too cowardly to carry out his own hits, he passes them off to Ginger and Coco, who are more than willing to do the killings themselves. Then one day one of the girls' hits goes bad and the tables are turned. Now the killers have become the hunted as their enemies seek revenge. Director Lazar Saric has produced a film that not only manages to be witty and entertaining but also breaks down gender stereotypes.
